TAURANGA INTERNATIONAL MARATHON

We did the PR for the Tauranga International Marathon (TIM) in its inaugural year in 2017 and again in 2018. Founded by Total Sport the TIM is a fast, flat and fun event that takes place from Mauao (Mount Maunganui) to Tauranga’s The Strand.

Our campaign focused on generating interest and entries in the Bay of Plenty and from across the country.

Our strategy was to hone in on the participants and their stories to generate real life stories. We also worked with TIM to implement a successful celebrity ambassador campaign for both events, which generated a lot of press interest, as well as their charity partner, Live More Awesome, which was also a cool media angle.
