Following a hugely popular national tour in 2017, during which audiences went wild for the daring beauty of exquisitely talented and bejewelled dancers, Australian Parisian-themed burlesque show Cabaret de Paris returned to New Zealand in 2018 for seasons in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch
Cabaret De Paris is a stage spectacular which showcases and celebrates old-fashioned showgirl glamour, the skill of adagio dancers, aerial pole artistry, comedy circus performers, illusionists and its very famous cancan dancers.
Audiences get intoxicated by the charm of former Moulin Rouge star, Marissa Burgess – a legendary showgirl and the longest serving lead performer in the Moulin Rouge's 120-year history.
Needless to say, across the two national tours, we enjoyed setting up a diversity of press stories for the brilliant team of performers, with a spontaneous jump-split by one of the performers on TV3’s The Cafe being a particular highlight. Check some examples out below.
